Camp TECH CORPS is a new program offered by TECH CORPS® and designed for elementary (3rd - 5th graders) and middle school students. Students will participate in hands-on, interactive technology-related activities focused on Robotics, Digital Media, Website Design and Gaming/Programming. Camps will run Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm (Pre- and Post-Care is available.) Tuition includes two snacks, lunch and all supplies. Camps will begin August 10th!

Help Send a Child to Camp

This summer, 100 elementary and middle school children from around Franklin County will participate in TECHie Camp, a week-long technology day camp designed to inspire and expose students to technology and all its possibilities.

In addition to participating in hands-on interactive activities focused on robotics, programming and gaming students will:

Increase their understanding and knowledge of how to use technology to expand their own learning;
Acquire new technology skills critical to their success in the classroom and beyond;
Increase their familiarity with professions where technology and technology know-how are core.

We recognize that not all families can afford to provide this opportunity to their children, so we are asking you to consider making a tax-deductible contribution in any amount to TECH CORPS’ TECHie Camp Fund. 100% of these dollars will be used to provide full or partial scholarships to deserving students in Franklin County.

TECH CORPS Ohio, the state chapter of a national non-profit organization committed to enhancing K-12 education by recruiting volunteers to assist schools with their technology needs, is recruiting volunteers to assist educators and students with their technology needs. Volunteers can assist in a number of ways: hardware troubleshooting, software applications, training, computer clubs, web page design and the list goes on.

TECH CORPS Ohio currently recruiting volunteers for schools in Ohio. Volunteer projects kicked-off in September 2008 and wrap up in May 2009. For more information, contact us.
